How early should we arrive at the cruise terminal?
Plan to be at the terminal 3 to 4 hours before sailing for check-in and security. Tell us your ship and sail time and we will recommend the pickup time based on your address and the day — Saturdays and Sundays are the heaviest.
What is the drive time to Galveston?
About 55 minutes from Hobby, 1 hour 20 minutes from IAH, and about an hour from Downtown or the Galleria, outside of peak traffic on I-45.
Do you pick us up when the ship comes back?
Yes. Give us your ship and scheduled arrival, and we track port arrivals so the vehicle is staged when you clear the terminal. Return pickups are booked at the same time as the outbound.
How much luggage fits?
A Yukon XL or Suburban takes six passengers with six full-size bags; an Escalade ESV the same with a little more room; a Sprinter takes up to fourteen with luggage. For eight or more we usually recommend the Sprinter.
Is the cruise transfer a flat rate?
Yes — quoted flat by pickup zone, with tolls, fuel and airport fees included. Gratuity is shown separately up front.
Can you pick up at the airport and go straight to the ship?
Absolutely. IAH-to-Galveston and Hobby-to-Galveston are our most common cruise runs. We meet you at baggage claim and drive straight to your terminal.
