When is the 2027 Houston Rodeo?

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs Tuesday, March 2 through Sunday, March 21, 2027 at NRG Park. The World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest is February 25–27, 2027.

Where will a chauffeur drop us off at NRG Park?

We drop you as close to your entrance as traffic control allows, then agree on a pickup point for after the show. Your chauffeur texts you when the vehicle is staged.

How far ahead should we book a car for a Rodeo concert?

As soon as you have tickets. Weekend concerts and the biggest headliners book up first, especially Sprinters and party buses.

Can you shuttle guests to a Bar-B-Que Contest tent?

Yes. Companies often book a Sprinter or shuttle on an hourly basis to loop guests between the office or hotel and NRG Park during the cook-off.

Is it a flat rate or hourly?

Rodeo nights are usually hourly, so the vehicle waits for you. Tolls and fees are included in the quote, and gratuity is shown up front.

Why getting home is the hard part

Most nights, tens of thousands of people leave NRG Stadium at the same moment the concert ends. Lots empty slowly, Kirby and Fannin back up, and rideshare prices surge while cars try to reach crowded pickup areas. Getting to the Rodeo is easy. Getting home at 11 p.m. is where a plan pays off.

Your options, honestly compared

Drive and park: fine for a daytime visit. After a concert, expect a long wait to exit the lots.
Park-and-ride shuttles: the Rodeo usually runs them from lots around town. They're affordable, but you'll wait in line on both ends.
Rideshare: easy on the way in. After the show, expect surge pricing and a walk to a busy pickup zone.
Private chauffeur: your driver drops you, waits nearby, and meets you at a pickup point agreed before the concert ends. Best for groups, clients and anyone who doesn't want to drive after the cook-off.

Planning a group night

Rodeo nights are one of the busiest weeks of our year, so book as soon as you have tickets, especially for Fridays, Saturdays and the big-name concerts.

2–6 people: Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or Cadillac Escalade
7–14 people: Mercedes Sprinter van, ideal for office outings and friend groups
15+ people: party bus or executive shuttle, so the whole group rides together

Most Rodeo bookings are hourly, so the vehicle stays with you from pickup through the ride home. Corporate hosts entertaining at the Bar-B-Que Contest often book one Sprinter to run guests between the office or hotel and NRG all afternoon.

Tips from our chauffeurs

Save your chauffeur's cell number before you go in. Cell service gets slow when the stadium empties.
Agree on a pickup corner before the concert, not after. We pick a spot away from the busiest gates.
Leaving a few songs early, or waiting 20 minutes after the encore, beats the worst of the crowd.
Wear boots you can walk in. The grounds are big, and the carnival, livestock barns and stadium are spread out.
Designate the chauffeur as your driver. After a day at the cook-off, nobody in your group needs the keys.
